Gloria Avrech, Ph.D
I have a full-time private practice in Pasadena, California and serve people of all ages. With
many years of professional experience, I provide services for the following:

- Consultation
I am expert in helping people with a range of problems including depression, anxiety, grief
and bereavement issues, relationship problems, work problems, men's and women's issues,
physical, sexual and emotional abuse, personality and developmental issues, family and
school behavioral problems.
I am a Jungian Analyst and Psychotherapist and am also practical in my clinical work and
will employ whatever theory and techniques are necessary to assist patients in healing as
effectively and quickly as possible. I have special skills in dream interpretation and the
employment of sandplay as a technique.
Also, I am the Director of the Hilde Kirsch Children's Center at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los
Angeles. I have lectured in California and nationally and several of my articles have been
published in professional journals.
